Today I am moving you to Hobart to start Uni and a whole new chapter of your life.
I am so excited for you and so grateful that you have the opportunity to do this, but in the same breath, I am heartbroken seeing you go.
We’ve been through a lot of storms over the years, seen just as many rainbows and I hope you know how much I love you, how much I will miss you and how empty my heart feels every time one of you leaves. Always my baby girl Abby

Day 307, Monday 23rd February
Dear Mum,
Two years ago today I received a phone call that would change my life forever. I was at Mole Creek doing prep for Music on the Green and death was the last thing on my mind.
I flew home to the hospital, terrified that I’d be too late to talk to you. I wasn’t, and as I held you’re hand and cried I had no idea of the impact your passing would have on me and those who loved you.
Although tomorrow marks the day you went away, it seems to me that the days leading up to it are always the hardest.
I miss you more every day.
You will always be my first love.
Love you to the moon and back
